Youth Hockey Registration

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

The Waseca Hockey Association has programs for those as young as are able to get on the ice for our Learn to Skate programs.

What time of the year does this program run?

Season begins with tryouts in late September/early October and runs until playoffs in February/March.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Most practices are held at the Waseca Community Arena.

When are practices and how often are they?

Teams may practice up to 4 to 5 times per week depending on game schedules.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Most teams will play 20-30 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Club jerseys are required for Squirt/10U programs and higher, and can be purchased during registration.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Teams may choose to compete in additional tournaments or participate in other functions. These costs are not covered by the association and may be passed onto the team.
